Construction Lanyon features bold geometric cables down a saddle shoulder and sleeves and a smaller all over cable motif (Little Fern cable) across the main part of the body. The cuff s and hem are fi nished with a 2x2 rib and rolled Stocking Stitch edge, the neck has a rounded V-shape both at the front and, less pronounced, at the back, also fi nished with a rolled St. St. edge.
The construction for the shoulders and neck is unusual and starts with a narrow Stocking Stitch tab at the back. Stitches for the wide saddle shoulder and neck opening are cast on and picked up along the sides of the back tab.
