The Lakeshore Shawl reminds us of the waves that gently lap at the shores of Michigan’s inland lakes. The stitch pattern is a variation of the popular Shetland Feather and Fan. It differs in that it is worked in stockinette stitch and the decreases are placed on different rows than the increases. The modifications give the shawl a more sophisticated look. Work it in white for a handsome bridal wrap.

The model was knit with hand-painted Henry’s Attic Carrera from Heritage Spinning and Weaving in Lake Orion, MI.
