Lake Union Bridge Shawl
The Lake Union Bridge Shawl features lace sections, reminiscent of bridges, and post stitch rows to add texture. The pattern includes a small size, a large size, and an adjustable size where you decide how many lace sections to include and where to place them. The shawl starts at one point. Increases are made on one side and decreases along another, giving the shawl a gentle curve along the longest side. The pattern works well with solid, variegated, or gradient yarn, or pair a gradient set with a contrasting solid.
Level: Easy
The main shawl pattern has a simple 4 row repeat, including one post stitch row. There is a simple lace pattern.
Size:
- Small: Approximately 55” wide by 17” deep before blocking and 62.5” wide by 17.5” deep after blocking
- Large: Approximately 84” wide by 26” deep before blocking 96” wide by 27” deep after blocking
- Adjustable – The four row pattern repeat can be worked as many times as desired with lace sections added as desired
