Minnesota Yarn Shop Hop 2016

This hat reflects the gentle lapping waters along the shores of any of the thousands of Minnesota Lakes - perhaps even Garrison Keillor’s Lake Wobegon. The stitch pattern is easy to learn and involves simple slipped stitches and catching the subsequent floats a couple of rows later.

This hat is intended to fit an average woman’s head.

Please do a gauge swatch for this hat! Gauge was determined on the patterned portion of the hat after blocking.

The sample hat was knit in Sunrise Fiber Co’s Twisted MCN Sock in our exclusive colorway “Lake of the Woods.” But, any fingering weight yarn should work.
