Lake Effect
These pretty crocheted snowflake crafts are perfect for the cold winter months. Make a handful to display in shadow boxes on your wall, string up as garland or adorn a front door wreath.
Skill level: Beginner
“The winter wind blowing over the Great Lakes can bring rafts of shivery flakes like this one.”
This is Snowflake #11 in the book of 100 Snowflakes. Instructions are on Page 49. Pictured on page 23 in Showcase
Finished diameter: 2-1/2 in. (64 mm)
Can also be made with worsted weight yarn and a G hook for a larger, but equally lovely, snowflake.
