Ladies' Shawl with Yoke
Out of print.
This pattern was
available for free.
Found on page 32 of the 5th edition (linked) of the Columbia Yarn Book. Reprinted on page 103 of the 8th edition.
The later version in the Eighth addition has a slightly different border.
Shetland Floss had 150-160 yards per 1 oz hank, about fingering weight. It was the standard “4-ply” of its day, a very popular yarn. Calls for 5 hanks. One bone crochet hook, size 3 & one wood crochet hook, size 15.
Please note this is an antique pattern, and as such uses vintage sizing and instructions. Used this page for hook conversions.
