Ladies Chenille Poncho
I’m a large size lady and I wanted to create a poncho that would fit me. I had thought of doing it entirely in Chenille yarn, but it quickly got too heavy and expensive, so I went on the hunt for something that matched the chenille I already had. I found a burgundy Red Heart and decided to combine the yarns. The soild parts of the poncho are the chenille and the open work is the 4 ply yarn. I also added butterfly charms that are randomly worked in the 4 ply sections, but neither photo showed them. This is one of my first attempts at plus size crochet. I consider the pattern easy and would love to hear from anyone who has made it.
