This scarf was inspired by a linen yarn I came across with random bits of color. However, it would work great with any solid or variegated yarn, and even a self-striping. I meant this to be more of a summer scarf, but it would be a great fall or winter scarf in a wool or alpaca yarn as well. The dropped stitches give the scarf a “ladder” edging, for a funky yet elegant scarf.
