Lacy Scarves
If you have never tried lacy knitting, these patterns are for you. Scarves are a great way of trying out a stitch pattern new to you as the exact size doesn’t matter. The scarves are worked on a garter stitch ground (to be reversible).
Materials
60 (70, 80) g North Ronaldsay fine yarn
pair 6 mm (US 10) needles
Sizes
Width: 6 (8,10)” wide and
Length: 40 (50, 60)”
Length easily adjustable.
Tension
New Shell: 18 sts and 34 rows to 4” over pattern after washing and blocking
Horseshoe: 18 sts and 22 rows to 4” over pattern after washing and blocking
Miniature Leaf: 18 sts and 20 rows to 4” over pattern after washing and
blocking
Note that tension is not crucial.
