The Lacy Flower Crown is a sweet and dainty accessory with or without the flower and leaf embellishments. This headband gives off a romantic vibe, and is also simple, minimalist, and has a vintage flair. It’s a very quick crochet pattern and great stashbuster project that can be made with scrap yarn. The 3D roses have multiple layers, and their sizes are easily adjustable simply based on the hook size you use. You’ll have fun arranging the appliques and trying different color combinations for stunning results.

This headband makes a beautiful last-gift for baby showers, birthdays, Mother’s Day, Christmas, and holidays. You can make it as a Mommy and Me gift too! It’s also suitable as a fast and easy product to stock for craft fairs, or as photo props for photographers.

Important Note: This flower crown pattern is different from the Lace Headband and Layered Roses patterns. The headband portion includes stitches to the sides of the headband and goes into the gaps across the bottom edge, as opposed to the chains. The flower portion include individualized instructions for the smaller and larger flowers, and are made with different hook sizes and stitches. For instance, the smaller flower has hdc petals and not dc. They lead with a sc in each st and not a sl st. The larger flower has six petals and leads with a sc in each st and not a sl st.

• FO: fasten off
• Sk: skip

Materials:
• Light (3) weight yarn (I used Patons Grace yarn in white and blush)
• 5mm crochet hook for headband and large flower
• 2.75mm, 3.75mm, and 4mm hooks for smaller flowers and leaves
• Scissors
