This textured dress (suitable for age 0-6 months) has a delightful ripple and fan pattern (waves and shells) and is worked from the neck down in one piece.

The length is fully adjustable from day wear to christening gown.

Pattern includes matching headband.

For the dress, you will need

500 m (550 yd) 4 ply yarn, 2.00 mm hook, 4 stitch markers, 4 buttons - 1.25 cm (½”) or as required to fit through/between trebles in button band and 1 m (1 yd) of ribbon (optional) for waistband.

Finished chest size 40.5 cm (16”)
Suggested centre back length 27.5 cm (11”) variable

For the headband, you will need

50m (55 yd) 4 ply yarn, 2.00 mm hook and a stretchy hair elastic - a 5 - 7.5 cm (2-3”) inch hair elastic with smooth finish (as pictured) is recommended. You should avoid the ones with metal closures where possible.

Finished circumference 35 - 40 cm (14-16”) variable
