-Lacey Vine Shawl pattern, with photos, charted and text pattern stitch instructions, helpful hints sprinkled throughout

Approx. 18” wide by 84” long.

You will need:

-about 1200 yds of lace weight yarn
(example made with a 2/20 linen/wool yarn by Jaggerspun, no longer available). You may substitute Jaggerspun’s “Maine Line”, 100% wool (2/20) or their “Zephyr”, 50% silk/50% wool (2/18; a little thicker so make sure you have the correct yardage)
-#5 circular needles ( 24” or longer)
-1 size 10 double point needle for bind off ‘version 1’
-a size G crochet hook and a few yards of worsted weight, smooth, scrap yarn for the provisional cast on

Gauge is approximate. As this is a shawl, do not stress too much, unless you are using a different weight yarn than suggested. Also, if you tend to knit loosely or tightly, choose a needle size accordingly.
