Laced-Up Duo
by Diane Zangl
The pattern is for a sweater and vest; the vest calls for approx. 540–680 yds of Rockland and the sweater calls for approx. 1300–1600 yds of Nature’s Palette. The yarns are NOT held together.
Note: The magazine calls for Nature’s Palette Worsted but that is most likely an error and it should call for Nature’s Palette DK.
The sweater is made from the bottom-up, then the bottom edge is picked up and knitted to create the wave lace border. The neckline is picked up and knitted for the border, and a bind-off is given in the pattern (called an open-edge bind-off).
