CONSTRUCTION
First the ’body’ of the scarf is knitted, working back and forth with short rows. Then stitches are bound off at the beginning of the scarf for the first knot, then a lace edge is knitted
sideways onto the scarf, so that the last stitch of the lace edge is knitted together with a stitch from the ’body’ of the scarf on every right-side row. At the end, stitches are bound off at the end of the scarf for the second knot.
