Lace Sleeves

Pattern Description from Interweave Online Store:
A feather-light mohair-silk capelet and elbow-length sleeves. The capelet can be worn tied in the front or back or gathered close together in the front and worn like the jabots that were popular in the eighteenth century. The sleeves are held in place with elastic at the wrist and top.

Finished Size: 38” (97 cm) wide at lower edge, 21½“ (54.5 cm) wide at upper edge, and 16½” (42 cm) long.

Yarn: Cascade Yarns Kid Seta (70% kid mohair, 30% silk; 230 yd [210 m]/25 g): #416 white, 4 balls for both capelet and sleeves.

Yarn weight: #0 - Lace

Gauge: 24 sts and 28 rows = 4” (10 cm) in lace pattern.

Needles: Size 6 (4 mm). One needle two sizes larger for binding off sleeves. Adjust needle sizes if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions: Size E/4 (3.5-mm) crochet hook; 2 strands (50 beads each) Czech crystal beads; about 50 yd (45 m) white (1 mm fine) elastic; markers (m).
