Pattern 5, Autumn Basket, in Crochet Monthly, #247.

Supplies: 36 mauve beads, pink satin ribbon, 5/8” wide for handle and 1/4” wide for rim of basket.

Stitches include chain stitches, slip stitches, single crochet, double crochet, shell stitches, 2 and 3 double crochet clusters and picots.

Dip basket and handle into sugar starch solution and stretch over suitable form to dry. Instructions for adding finishing touches to basket provided in pattern.
