This border pattern was designed to enlarge Labyrinth Mandala into a rug. But it can also be used for any mandala with 208 sts on the last round.

The border is made in Overlay Crochet technique. This easy to follow pattern (16 pages) is written for one size. It contains step by step full written instructions in English using standard crochet abbreviations and US terms (stitch guide is given in the pattern). It also contains lots of pictures explaining all the tricky and difficult places.

Crochet level: Intermediate (front post stitches, crochet in 3rd loops)

Materials:

• Yarn in 2 colors. I used yarn “Bloom” by Scheepjes: shades 804 and 813. But you can absolutely use more colors if you wish! Yardages are given for complete rug including central mandala.
• Crochet hook 4.5 mm (US7) or the size that will give an acceptable gauge.
• Scissors and Tapestry needle to weave the ends in.

Size: The size of the finished border depends on the yarn and hook you use. The entire circle (with central Labyrinth Mandala) is approx. 82cm (32 in) large across.
