La Résilience Beanie is a sister pattern of a beautiful cowl made to be worn close to the neck. Brioche crochet is used to create a motif of lovely foliage and strong vertical stripes.

Biches & Bûches Le Petit Lambswool 4-ply/fingering (100% lambswool; 248m / 270yd per 50g)
Sample is made in colourways Blue Grey (MC) and Beige (CC)

CC: 220m / 240yd
HOOK
3.5mm (US E/4)
TENSION
20 sts x 20 rnds = 9cm x 7.5cm / 3.5” x 3” measured over Section 2 pattern repeat, after blocking
Pattern is worked in 3 parts: the ribbing, the main pattern and the decrease.
The main pattern repeat is of 20 sts, so you can adjust the circumference by adjusting the no. of rows in the brim section. If you’re using different yarn weights, then you have to make a gauge swatch with your working yarn and then decide number of stitches (in multiple of 20) to start the pattern.
ERRATA:
Section 2 (Rnd 4) - “ch 1, 1 FPdc working behind CC FPdc 2 times” to be replaced with “ch 1, 1 dc in ch-3 sp working behind CC ch-1 sp 2 times”.
