This is a reversible, bottom-up design. One side has protruding circular shapes, and on the other side these circular shapes form recesses that are reminiscent of water pools. A border is worked at the start and end of every row.

As the pattern-row repeat is two rows, it is very easy to alter the size of the project and add more rows to create a shawl. You could keep crocheting until you only have enough yarn to work a final right side row (with completed bobbles), a border row, and make a few tassels.

Making bobbles does use a lot of yarn, so take this into account if you are buying more yarn.

Pattern notes
To change yarn: work to the last stitch in the old yarn, start to make the treble stitch in the old yarn but work the final yarn-round-hook of the treble stitch with the new yarn.

I have not given a tension, as I feel there is no one tension for this pattern. Use hook that allows the bobbles to protrude. But as a guide I used a 4mm (US G-6) hook.

If you use a larger hook you may need more yarn.
