Purled garter mesh worked on a large needle creates an open fabric perfect for oversized layering. Kusama features split curved shirttail hems shaped with short rows; all pieces are worked flat and seamed, both for structure and for breezy all-rows-the-same knitting. Extra-long sleeves are designed to roll back.
Construction
The garment pieces are worked flat from the bottom up, and sewn together. The neckband is picked up and worked circularly after garment assembly. The back hem is longer than the front hem; both hems may be worked to the same shorter length if desired.
