This pattern coordinates with the Knitting at the Library Cowl Part Deux: Lace.
Once again, I’m teaching knitting at the library, and the project for the class needs to be completed in 3 weeks and also has to be knittable for a variety of skill levels. There are five sections incorporating lace patterns of varying difficulty included in this interesting yet achievable hat.
NOTE: an assortment of worsted mini skeins totaling approximately 220 yds or 100 g of five colors, at least, can also be recommended; if you have more of one color than the others, use it for the ribbing as well as within the hat.
This pattern was written for personal use, please honor the copyright. Do not reproduce.
Tech edit by Ellen Silva. Graphic layout done by Erica Gunn. Photography by Anna Stauber. Model was Johanna Smith.
Test knitters were Ann Templeton, Deborah Simon and Christina Workman.
