Knitted pike socks
Knitted pike socks: Keep a fisherman’s toes (and heart) warm!
Wrap these fierce pike socks into a birthday present, or gift them to your cottage host.
Materials for the pike socks
- Novita Nordic Wool Flow yarn (100% wool): 200 g in khaki (034) and just under 50 g in bark (042)
- a bit under 50 g of natural white (010) Novita Venla yarn (75% wool, 25% polyamide)
- a small amount of black yarn for embroidering the eyes.
- double-pointed needles size 3 (US 2.5) or according to your gauge, plus 1 extra double-pointed needle and a size 2.5 (US 2) crochet hook for finishing
Stockinette stitch in the round: knit all rounds, following the instructions.
k1, p1 ribbing: knit 1, purl 1, repeat from * to * to the end of the row. On the wrong side, knit the knit stitches and purl the purl stitches.
