Knitting Is My Therapy banadana
Knitting can have many purposes. To a stressed or troubled brain, it may serve as a haven, easy to navigate in and leaving little space for thoughts running out of control. Knitting is a pleasure when it does not stress the brain too much. For example, it can be stressful continuously having to change focus between pattern and knitting, concentrating too much on gauge, or worrying whether your knitting is ’good enough’.
The KIMT Bandana has been designed and developed for knitters who need an intuitive knitting project; to this end, the pattern uses slightly longer descriptions.
The bandana is worked back and forth from one pointed end to the other with i-cord edges at both sides. Increases are worked at the beginning of rows until half the yarn has been used. Then decreases are worked in the same side until all the yarn has been used. The pattern offers 2 different versions: one with wide structure stripes and another one with a seed stitch pattern. Happy and relaxed knitting! Best, Team Önling
