To make the knitting needles, you need a cocktail stick and two wooden beads.

The knitting skill is basic of knit and purl, k2tog and kf/b (knit in to the front loop and back loop to increase 1 stitch) and i-cord which is explained in the pattern. The figures are knitted flat and sewn together at the end,

You need a pair of double pointed knitting needles of 2.75mm (US 2) or similar. DPN are used to make i-cords.
