This pattern knits up quickly. To have a folded brim, you will want to knit 4” but reduce to 2” if you don’t want the fold. From there the pattern consists of a band of purled rows and then knit rows with a row of added pearls in the middle.

Any worsted weight yarn will do but this sample used 1.5 skeins of Kollage Glisten. If you see this hat walking around town, it is probably because my daughter won’t take it off her head :wink:

For a slouchier version you can add another set of purl ridge/knit band combo.
