Knit Look Crochet Hat

You can easily tell the difference between crochet and knit right!? This little hat might make you look twice! It’s 100% crochet with a knit-look thanks to the slip stitch ribbing. The pattern is available in Toddler, Child and Adult sizes.

This hat is a perfect project for a confident beginner – not too difficult but with a couple of techniques to offer a challenge (slip stitch ribbing and short rows).

Construction
This hat is crocheted from side to side and seamed at the end. At the top of the hat you will skip stitches on alternate rows; this tapering will give the top of the hat a more rounded shape at the end. The hat has extra length to allow you to fold up the brim once finished.
