Yes, this is a crochet! My mini collection of knit-look crochet garments is dedicated to all of those who love knit looks but do not knit. Now you can make very similar items with crochet. This technique is unique but pretty simple! No slip stitch crochet involved. Works up pretty fast and you will fall in love with that texture!

Skill level: easy/intermediate

Size and measurements
Baby (up to 15”)
Toddler (up to 18”)
Child (up to 20”)
Teen/Adult (up to 22”)

Materials
• approx. 50(100,100,100)g or 120(240,240,240)yards of any DK weight or light worsted weight yarn
For toddler and child sizes you will use less than 100g for a hat, but as the cuff part is requiring quite a lot of yarn I suggest to have it with a reserve
For sample, I used Drops Puna yarn, shade 01
• 25g or 153yards of Drops Alpaca Silk yarn (optional)
• crochet hook 3.5mm or size needed to obtain gauge
• stitch marker (optional)

Gauge
With DK weight yarn – work 11sts and 6 rows in hdc to measure 5x5cm or 2x2in using 3.5mm hook, or size required to obtain the gauge.
