These gloves were inspired by Eastern henna body painting traditions.

In my research, I was fascinated by the traditions that cherished brides and helped give rest to new mothers.

Yarn: Color A: Knit Picks Palette 100% Peruvian Highland Wool; 231yd/50g; Color: Cornmeal. 2 skeins. Color B: Knit Picks Palette; Color: Marsala. 1 skein.
Needles: US3 (3.25mm) straight needles
Extras: A stitch marker to divide panels and a tapestry needle
Gauge: 8 stitches = 1” (2.5cm) in stockinette stitch
