I am deeply shocked about what is going on in this world in these days. And feel unsure knowing not exactly how to help. So besides collecting clothes and toys and getting these to the people in need who arrive here in my hometown Berlin, I stick to what I can do best => knitting stranded colourwork. I have adopted the well known peace sign which was created in 1958 by British graphic designer Gerald Holtom and made a peace sign knitting chart. I designed a stranded colourwork cowl using this chart - it is knit in the round like a tube, there is not a single purl stitch. Even if you haven´t done stranded colourwork before you might give it a try …

Please feel free to use the peace sign knitting chart for any project of your choice – use any yarn in any weight and any gauge.

Ich habe das weltberühmte „peace sign“, das 1958 vom British Grafikdesigner Gerald Holtom entworfen wurde, in ein Zählmuster umgesetzt. Daraus entstand ein Schlauchschal in der „stranded colourwork“ Technik – er wird in Runden nur rechts gestrickt, es gibt nicht eine linke Masche. Selbst wenn Du mit dieser Technik noch keine Erfahrung hast – das Zählmuster kann man sich gut merken.

Gerne kannst Du das Muster für jedes andere Projekt Deiner Wahl nutzen – aus jedem Garn jeder Stärke.
