This is the square version of my Klaziena Shawl triangle and rectangle pattern.

The pattern is designed to repeat, so you can make one-repeat square to join together with others or continue the repeating pattern until the desired size of afghan is achieved.

This pattern is for intermediate to advanced crocheters. The thing which makes it a challenge is the increasing in the corner. I recommend that you attempt the shawl version first, but all instructions are contained in this document.

I suggest cotton acrylic 4 plys from Wolle Amore or KoKonki.
Scheepjes and YarnArt Flowers would also be suitable for this project. The amount required will depend on the size you decide to make your project.
