Kiyo Kiyo Shawl
Pattern includes both the original Kiyo Kiyo Shawl AND Kiyo Kiyo Extra Lacy! An infinite number of shawls from a single, handy pattern.
Kiyo Kiyo Shawl
A shawl made for travelling, for picking up anytime, anywhere, with barely any pattern to remember.
The instructions are just one row, with another row of eyelets you can add wherever you like for spice, the ultimate form of pattern minimalism. All the shaping takes place at the beginning of the row, making it much easier to remember - the knitting equivalent of starting your morning off right, and the rest just falls into place.
Since it’s knit in heavy worsted weight yarn with larger needles, this is a project you could start and actually finish on even a short vacation, and it’ll actually keep your shoulders warm.
Finished size:
18” deep, 80” wingspan
Yarn:
5 skeins Noro Silk Garden (45% Silk/45% Kid Mohair/10% Lambs Wool, 50g/108yd) color 84
(or, really, any amount of heavy worsted weight yarn)
Needles:
US size 10 (6.00mm) 40” circular needles or size needed to get gauge
Gauge:
about 3 sts = 1” in garter stitch
