You always wanted to knit a cuddly toy, but never dared to? So why not starting with my Kitty Longlegs! I have deliberately kept the cats simple so also knitters with only little experience are able to make them. The sensational colour gradients of NORO wool does a lot of the trick, because the structure of the yarn simply “swallows” small mistakes and irregularities. Of course you can also use other gradient yarn or leftovers from your stash.

Kitty Longlegs is a two-in-one pattern:
You can choose between knitting in the round or flat.

Original yarn
Silk Garden Sock Yarn from NORO, colour S366 or other. 1 ball is enough for two cats.

For the head and paws you need uni coloured yarn in similar yarn weight and gauge as the yarn for the body, for example Cool Wool Big from Lana Grossa. 1 ball is enough for two cats.

Of course you can use other yarns - whether gradient or plain, perhaps you can even find something suitable in your stash. The only important thing is that the yarn weight of head and body are similar.
With original yarn, they measure approximately 42 cm.

Die Schlenkerkatzen sind ganz bewusst einfach gehalten, um auch Strickanfängern Lust aufs Kuscheltierstricken zu machen. Schick werden die beiden durch die sensationellen Farbverläufe der NORO-Wolle, wobei die Struktur des Garns kleine Fehler und Unregelmäßigkeiten einfach „verschluckt“. Sie können natürlich auch anderes Verlaufsgarn oder Wolle aus der Restekiste verwenden!

Sie können wählen zwischen dem Stricken in Runden oder in Reihen.

Originalwolle

Sie können auch anderes Garn verwenden – ob Verlauf oder Uni, vielleicht findet sich sogar in der Restekiste etwas passendes. Lassen Sie ihrer Phantasie freien Lauf! Wichtig ist nur, dass die Garnstärke von Kopf und Körper ähnlich sind. Je nach Wollstärke werden die Katzen größer oder kleiner.
Mit der Originalwolle messen sie ca. 42 cm.
