The Kitty Invisibility Cloak is a tribute to Mrs. Norris (a cat in Harry Potter) who can sense the kids even when they wear the invisibility cloak. You can see little paw prints (or flowers, really) on the lace portion of the shawl and underneath, who knows what lurks? Knit your own KIC and disappear into it anytime you like. POOF.

Two ungrateful cats were fired during the photo shoot due to general disagreeability and a butt biting incident.

No seams, no extra ends to sew in, only one color used at time. A garter triangle is made first, then as you knit the simple lace triangle, you slip a stitch to join the two triangles together as you go.

The end product is a giant parallelogram!
