Kite
Kite’s major squares are knit on the bias, adorned with eyelet increases and an occasional column of refined lace stitches. Triangular “half squares” fill out the body and easy rectangles become both the sleeves and the tailored peplum. What is most unusual is the fold-down in the back, where the top corners of the front and back squares join, forming a point that folds down.
Pattern correction:
There is an extra YO in the decrease section on page 96.
Pg 96 DECREASE SECTION, row 5, should read:
K3, K2tog twice, knit to marker, sm, k2tog, yo, k1, yo, ssk, sm, knit to last 7 sts, ssk twice, k3 – 4 sts decreased.
