KISS stands for Keep It Simple Stupid. The last word is kind of harsh but you get the point. If you always wanted to learn how to crochet mittens, then you have found the easiest pattern available for free! Both video and written formats are available.
Most crochet mitten patterns can be intimidating! Don’t let them. These KISS mittens are much easier than they look. This pattern is worked from the top of the fingers down. Similar to how you would make a hat. It is worked using double crochet. No need for confusing stitches!
These classic chunky crochet mittens will keep your fingers super warm whether you’re shoveling snow or waiting at the bus stop with the kiddos.
For this pattern, I am using Big Twist yarn for Joann. It is a #6 weight yarn. But trust me. This yarn is definitely more of a #5 weight. I have several brands of yarn to compare it to. So if you can’t find this particular yarn. Please feel free to use #5 weight yarn.
