Kingfisher Hat and Cowl

The kingfisher is a pre-Columbian motif that reflects myths of both South American and North American. In South American mythology the kingfisher lives along rivers because he is looking for his mother who drowned accidentally while looking for her rebellious son. In North America mythology the kingfisher was considered useless by the other animals because he didn’t have webbed feet like other water birds.

Unisex, attractive and modern design. Warm and great garment for autumn and wintertime. Chart and written instructions.
