Notes from the Designer:

Kincaid is named after one of the most beautiful, sandy beaches in my home state of Alaska. Kincaid Beach is unlike most others in Alaska due to the fact that it is a sandy beach, instead of pebbled. The water is icy blue, and on a clear day, you can easily see mountains in the distance. The colors of this shawl brought many happy memories to mind. I hope that making this shawl – with its easy to memorize pattern – is relaxing and soothing for you, too!

  • The sample shown used approximately 2,800 yds (2,561 m) total Color A: 1,025 yds (938 m), Color B: 900 yds (823 m), and Color C: 875 yds (800 m).
  • Gauge is not crucial, but could affect overall size and yardage.
  • Additional rows can be added, but additional yarn will be needed.
