Circular needles (80 cm / 32 in) 6 mm (US 10) and 5 mm (US 8), or or needle size required to meet gauge, and double-pointed needles in the same sizes, unless using Magic Loop.

Gauge 14 sts and 18 rows in stockinette stitch using the larger needles and double yarn = 10 cm / 4 in.
