Kilbourne Hat
Kilbourne Hat is a unisex close fitting beanie that utilizes twisted stitches to create a zig zag pattern. Beginning with a twisted rib, it is worked in the round from the bottom up with a crown that is worked in progressively smaller zig zags. After a few rounds the stitch pattern becomes intuitive but still engaging during this quick to knit project.
Kilbourne Hat is very stretchy, and should be worn with 1-2” negative ease. Sized to fit both men and women and only using 150-200 yards of worsted weight yarn, this hat will be your go-to gift knit.
