A fun architectural design knit in stranded colorwork, Kiely is a twist on a classic swoncho while creating a great layering piece for the upcoming months.

Kiely is worked top down, beginning with a simple two color stripe sequence, before moving into a the three color stranded colorwork chart. After the yoke is finished, the sleeve and body division is done, and the body is actually placed on hold in order to finish the sleeves first, so as to determine what length you would like the swoncho to be, so putting the body on hold (waste yarn) and moving on to the sleeves.
Due to the shape of swonchos and how deep the yoke is, I found that having my sleeves finished first and trying it on as I go, helped me to figured out what was the most comfortable and fitting length of body and hem for me.
