Kiefer
Kiefer has a slow color movement: two three-step gradients in silk mohair are combined as aligned staggered marls from light to dark to light to make a nine-step marl sequence. There is also a common strand of pale gray paper yarn.
The three-strand fabric is thin, supple, and soft in Ito Washi (paper) and Ito Sensai (silk mohair).
The working yardage is 550 yards.
