This unique sweater is inspired by the Egyptian god Khepri, symbolizing transformation, the cycle of life, and sunrise. The sweater celebrates colour, playfulness, and creativity, encouraging you to express your individuality with pride, like Khepri, who rolls up the sun each day

Khepri is worked sideways in a striped pattern using
both intarsia knitting and tucks.
The back and front pieces are knitted separately,
side to side. On the back, while following the striped
pattern, a beetle motif is knitted using the intarsia
technique, according to chart.
The sleeves are worked from the bottom up, with the
knitting direction slanted and shaped using increases
and decreases. Stitches are picked up along the bottom
edge of the sleeves, and the sleeves are finished with a
ribbed edge.
Outline stitches are embroidered around the beetle
motif on the back, and I-cords are attached as antennas
and legs before sewing the back and front pieces
together.
The shoulders are joined using Kitchener stitches. The
sleeves are sewn on, and the sleeve and side seams are
closed before stitches are picked up to knit the bottom
ribbed edge.
Finally, stitches are picked up along the neckline, and
the neck edge is worked in rib.
All ribbed edges are finished with an Italian bind-off.
