Keyboard Scarf
A fun, colourful scarf using intarsia technnique for stripes of colour. As an alternative to a multi-colour scarf, you can use a main colour and a single contrast colour.

Materials:
Hjertegarn Merino Cotton (DK; 50% superwash wool/50% cotton;120m/131yds per 50g ball). Shown in shade: 435 Mid Grey (MC) x 2 balls and 10g each of 2676 Yellow (C1), 1265 Grass (C2), 1620 Baby Blue (C3), 1660 Navy (C4), 1800 Amethyst (C5) and 9130 Magenta (C6) OR if using a single contrast yarn 60g is needed.
4mm (UK 8/US 6) knitting needles
2-2.5cm/¾-1in button

Tension:
28.5 sts and 31.5 rows over 10cm/4in in Garter Stitch after steam pressing.
Exact tension is not essential but a difference in tension may affect the final size and amount of yarn used.
