This is a crochet pattern for everybody’s favourite muppet and Sesame Street character, Kermit! An original pattern by Fat Lady Crochet. Please note this is a crochet pattern, not the finished physical item.

This easy (but not beginner) crochet pattern is written in US terms and is designed for crocheters with a solid understanding of simple crochet, and who don’t mind a little bit of sewing. Lots of photos are included to help you along the way.

You will need:
• 125 grams size 4 worsted weight yarn in Green
• 25 grams size 4 worsted weight yarn in Light Green, White
• Scrap amount size 4 yarn in Black
• Crochet hook sizes H 5.00 mm, G 4.00 mm
• Tapestry needle
• Fiber Fill
• Stitch marker
• 2 black buttons ONLY if piece is being made for people over 3 years of age.

Notes
• Kermit’s Legs, Body and Head are worked in one piece, using 2 strands of yarn held together.
• Kermit is worked in continuous rounds from the bottom up.
• Kermit’s Arms and Eyes are worked separately, using 2 strands of yarn held together and are sewn on.
• Kermit’s Frill is worked using 1 strand yarn and smaller hook.
• The finished piece is approximately 9.5 inches tall.
• 1 strand Bulky (size 5) yarn may be substituted for 2 strands yarn held together without any alterations to pattern needed.
