Kerman Brioche Scarf
The Kerman Brioche Scarf takes inspiration from Kerman panel tapestries. The tapestries are full of rich colors, patterns, and textures that make them a visual delight.
The cast on is a two-row tubular cast on worked from provisional stitches. Any two-color tubular cast on can be substituted, but if substituting another cast on, an additional row may need to be worked before beginning the pattern’s first row to ensure that the first row of the pattern is worked as a right side row.
Faux fringe borders use inverted colors to create color contrast, but brioche knits always line up with brioche knits and brioche purls always line up with brioche purls to make tracking stitches easier.
The Kerman Brioche Scarf has been professionally tech edited and offers both charted and written stitch pattern directions for the Kerman panel.
Note: All yarn was used for the sample. Deviation from pattern gauge and/or adding length will require additional yarn.
