Kensington Hedgehog is a handy little pincushion, and the body is worked in reverse stockinette stitch for texture. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the hedgehog is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

A pair of 3.5mm single pointed knitting needles (US 4)

RECOMMENDED YARN
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; up to 25g in each colour

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, toy filling and toy safety eyes.

One size only - 9.5cm long x 7.5cm tall.

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
