This is a listing for a knit wrap pattern that features a single lace stitch that comes to us from Japan. The focal stitch features one of the many lace leaf patterns. The leaves and stem reflect one of the beautiful flowers in Japan, and make a lovely shawl.

The stitches, although they are Japanese, are easily learned by American knitters, especially those who love knitting lace. All symbols used are the ones familiar to Western knitters.

Contained within the pattern are instructions for an optional crocheted edging. This is the ONLY crochet in the entire pattern, the optional edging.

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a basic knowledge of lace knitting).

The stitch is charted ONLY.

This pattern was expertly test knitted by Lisa Lynn who can be reached at: lilypupsleep@outlook.com

The yarn used in the sample is knit with Malabrigo’s Arroyo yarn, in colorway, Valentina.

The pattern is for sale here on Ravelry and in my Etsy Shop in the Shawls/Stoles/Scarves section (https://www.etsy.com/shop/WearableArtEmporium?section_id=…)
