“Kenjin is a modern, Japanese inspired, cardigan for little ones. It is worked from the bottom up, seamlessly & flat, sleeves are in stockinette and in the round and then attached to the body and worked with raglan shaping. It features an asymmetrical front opening, diagonal cables on a reverse stockinette background on the body, sleeves in stockinette, garter stitch cuffs, hem & front opening. 4” of positive ease is included for comfort. 2 or 3 large buttons finish off this simple cardigan making it quick & fun to knit!
“Kenjin” is the Japanese word for ‘Sage’, meaning wise one.”

To fit chest size: 16 (17, 18, 19, 21, 23, 25, 26.5, 28) inches
Neck to hem: 8 (9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 18) inches

- 2 (2, 2, 2, 3, 3, 4, 4, 5) skeins Dream in Color Classy with Cashmere - 70% Superwash Merino Wool, 20% Cashmere, 10% Nylon - 200 yds per 4 oz skein - shown in Some Summer Sky
- US 7 (4.5mm) 16” circular needle
- US 7 (4.5mm) 24” circular needle (may use straight needles instead if preferred)
- 8 stitch markers
