Prounced KEITH-LEE, Keighley is a town in Yorkshire. It’s home to East Riddlesden Hall, a filming location in the heart of Brontë country that crops up time and time again in period film and television. These mitts are so named for those adaptations, which are so often crammed with beautiful examples of handknits.
Sizing
Keighley comes in two sizes: Small and Med/Large.
Small: 6” tall by 5.5” diameter (15cm tall by 14cm diameter) to fit hands up to 7.5” (20cm).
Medium / Large: 7” tall by 7” diameter (18cm tall by 18cm diameter) to fit hands up to 9”.
My hands measure 8” at the knuckle and 7.5” around the wrist. The med/large size fits me well, sitting unstretched at the wrist and slightly stretched at the widest part.
