Introducing the Kayla Sweater!

This sweater is one of those things that is so simple but the results are something you’ll love. It’s constructed from the top down all in one piece. I’ve even added the option for long sleeves. I love that you can also easily adjust the fit of this one. Because it’s a topdown sweater you can adjust the fit as you go and add or take away length if needed.

For the pattern you’ll need a J (6mm) hook, worsted weight yarn and 4 stitch markers. For the sample I used Bernat Super Value but testers had great results with other worsted weight yarn. I really like the Super Value because it’s one of those yarns that you get a lot for your money but it’s softer (especially after blocking) than other affordable yarns. I Love This Yarn by Hobby Lobby would work well too.

Sizes: Bust
XS: 28”
S: 34”
M: 36”
L: 40”
1X: 44”
2X: 48”
3X: 52”

Skill: intermediate

The only reason I rate this an intermediate project is because of the color changes and the stitch. It is not a typical stitch so it may be new to learn (it’s really easy though).
